The Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) 2024 will officially open in the next few months for application review. EQIP's objective is to help farmers maintain or improve production while conserving natural resources on working landscapes.

Producers and growers can submit at any time, and Cold Steppe encourages interested producers to reach out, as we have a network of Technical Service Providers who can assist in the application.

Cold Steppe biochar is part of Conservation Practice CPS 336: Soil Carbon Amendment. We are also committed to providing biochar via this practice so that producers and landowners have zero out-of-pocket expenses.

We are also excited that during the next few months we will launch a partnership with FarmRaise that makes the entire user experience for EQIP application a bit easier.
